Event labels date back to the earliest CrunchOff activities. The tiny (1 inch) printed label is a simple way to personalize and decorate your "Standard Trophy Can" (STC). Its common for high scoring "Trophy" cans to be affixed with label, then laced with string, and worn as a medallion. During fast paced events; "Player labels" and "Event ID labels" help organize and unify your activity. | ![]() |

The table above shows scoring characteristics for a variety of beverage can styles and product labels. In general, performance and score benefit from ridgid sidewalled containers with uniform and balanced thickness. Remember: when choosing your CrunchOff Game-Can, the fewer dings, dents, or wrinkles the better. |

MYTH: "When a Coors Light can gets dented at the factory, the Coors company changes the label to Keystone."..... IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! Fact is that Keystone beer is a Coors product which is less expensive than Coors premium beverages. Perhaps the company is field testing thinner walled aluminum containers using their Keystone product line. The Keystone pictured above was crushed "abstract" while the beer was still inside the can. Results are pretty neat and we still drank what was left in the can. But Personally, I would switch to another label or even start buying bottles if this thin walled, cheap-out, "low performance can" business continues. In fact, the Keystone beer can pictured above is from the last Keystone beer I have had in more than 2 years. We switched to better performing cans. They're more fun to drink from, and way better for the games. Personal preferences: PBR Cans Rock!!, also check out the Miller Beer "Hunter and Camp" series cans. Recently we came across a batch of vintage cans, mixed labels and ran a CrunchOff activity with Dr.Thunder!! #imagine that#. If its score that you want- Know your game-cans!! |
